Once you have decided on the ideal property we will help you through the whole process. We understand that buying a property in a foreign country can be a worrying time but, we are here to help and guide you through what need not be a stressful time.
The first priority is to employ a reputable lawyer to act on your behalf. We can recommend the best in the area. Before any deposits are paid or money changes hands, we insist that your lawyer double checks the legality of the property you intend to buy. There are properties in Spain that have been built without all the necessary legal paperwork and approvals. We make our own checks, but a second check will always give you peace of mind.
If you are buying a property that is being constructed we will keep in contact about the schedule of deposit payments and report regularly on progress. If the property is second hand then we will work closely with your lawyer to obtain all the necessary documentation from the owner.
All property purchases are completed and witnessed by a notary. You may choose to attend the completion in the notary's office or let your lawyer sign for you with power of attorney. In any event we shall be available for you before, during and after the act of completion.
Once you own your new property we are on hand to help you move in and create a home. If you need electricians, plumbers, builders, etc. we can recommend a number of spanish and english trades people with good reputations.
